WTH? discussion time.....

I read a lot of online fanfiction, and one thing that bugs me is the common opinion in fanfiction, no matter what it's based on, authors should 'warn' people about slash. And if it contains slash, or, well, *any* relationship with more than 2 people, it should be rated at least PG-13, even if the only thing that happens in the story is, say, a kiss, or hand-holding type things.

But no one feels it is necessary to 'warn' for heterosexual pairings, even if the chars. are homosexual in the actual story the fic is based on!

That attitude really bugs me. I feel if slash should be warned about, then so should het stories when one of the chars., according to cannon, is gay! Does that make sense to anyone else?

Saw some of the videos from the show. I *really* hope they are covering 'Shout' every show, that would be beyond awesome!!!

Does anyone know anything about the SJ Event center?

For instance, I have heard from others that their ticket just says Gen. Adm., no seat or row, but mine, which I bought through ticketmaster and printed out, does. Is that just so they can keep track of things, or do I actually have to sit there? Because I'd really prefer to be up front and not have to sit in a seat in the stands, lol.

Also, what is the event center and the tour policy on smallish backpacks? Ok to bring in, y/n? if yes, how much of an inspection do they do, like, just open it and glance, or dump everything on the table and paw through it all? I'm trying to decide if I can take a book to read on the train, but I don't want to, you know, tie up the line forever while they poke through a bag. Maybe I'll print out a bunch of fic, I can always toss it when I get done with it. MCR or FOB or something, lol, NOT Panic or CAB stuff!

also, pics/autographs? If you aren't a member of Northern Downpour, what are the oddsof PatD autographs? impossible/unlikely/if you're lucky/likely/of course? and if anything other than impossible, when's the best time to try; after the show or what?

and what about the rest of the bands? are they likely to sign stuff?

See, I kind of want to bring a my little pony to get signed. :) lol, I really want to start a collection of autographed mlps! hm, thing is, should I have one for each band to sign, which means bringing 4 of the regular sized (5 inches or so) ones, or should I ask all of them to sign the same one, and bring one of the big(14 inch) ones?
