(no subject)

I am having a difficulty today. I've had a piece of a fic stuck in my head for the past few days, and I have not been able to find it! I read more than 50 fics each week, so it's not like I can remember them all, lol; half the time I forget to even leave a comment! And, well, if no one on my flist recognizes it, I'll try over at the MCR fic finder, but I'm hoping someone will know which fic it is......

Bob never left Chicago, and is still doing sound at a venue there. I remember one part where he's doing sound for the CAB, and for Panic; there's something about how annoying it is to set the levels because all of the CAB sings? And Ryan has pages and pages of notes for him, and Brendon bounces all over the place on stage so he has to constantly adjust things to keep up, lol.

Can you believe that was all I remembered of the fic, lol; and from that, t_usual_suspect was able to point me in the right direction?

It turned out to be Waiting for the Lights To Go by sathinks/flyingtapes; a girl!Bob fic. Somehow, I didn't remember Bob was a girl in it, lol; kind of shows how unimportant gender is to me in fics, right?

I know, odd pieces of fics get stuck in my head! I made my way through stepps AU reclists, and didn't find it; it's NOT the one where Frank is Bob's guardian angel(I just read that one.)

Can anyone help, or should I go over to MCR fic finders? (I'm shy, I've never posted there....)
