another example of Manager K.'s FAIL, in my eyes, anyway. I was talking about the reason I needed the 21st and 22nd off was to go to the FOB show, and he told me he didn't like FOB. I asked why, and he told me Fall Out Boy is too 'vulgar and pornographic' for his 14 y.o. daughter to listen to.
I just... are we even talking about the same band here? FOB rarely even have cussing in their songs, and, well, the only songs I can think of offhand that could remotely fall under 'vulgar or pornographic' are Xo, and of course Calm Before the Storm has a line in the chorus about being well-hung and hanging out, or maybe some of the titles? IDEK.....
God, I wonder what he'd think of, say, 'Lying', or well, anything by MSI?
Meme Day 3
12 days till FOB in San Fran!!! expect countdown flailing daily, I think! I fell hard for bandom when I got to see MCR; I was thrilled to go see Panic, Warped was awesome, couldn't have gotten any closer to the CAB without being on the stage for Why So Serious tour, but this? It's in less than 2 weeks, and I'm still having trouble believing it's actually happening...
Today was payday!(not that it's much, but still! $$!)
The District Manager ~complemented me~ on being all professional when dealing with the crews complaints about our manager, K. :D I did good! No decision on what's gonna happen with K. yet; right now she's just kind of getting all sides to the stories, I think.
listening to FaD on repeat since I got home from work! \w/ I possibly have memorized Disloyal Order of Water Buffaloes.....what? I've had 3 days to learn it....
