I've been reading lots of bandom future!kidfics lately, and I noticed a trend; the babies are girls 99% of the time. I can only think of one that has a boy in it, lol!


In particular, Pear Liberal Studies Wentz has been a girl in every fic I've found so far. Did I miss them announcing they were having a girl, or is this just a case where the majority of bandom have a hive mind?

Don't get me wrong, I love it! but, for a change, I'd really love to read a fic about some little boy growing up with Pete for a dad. I just, yeah.

One of the strangest set of names I'd ever heard of was, when I was in Las Cruces, I worked with a girl named Apple Marie, and, no, lie, her younger brother was named Orange Jonathan.

I faceplanted when she told me. I mean, it's bad enough to do that to one kid, but 6 years later, you have another kid, and you *do the same thing* to that one?

see, that's what I thought? It just seemed once he put that name in the Q&A's, everyone started saying assuming it was a girl? but someone else said they thought it was actually announced, but when I googled for it, I couldn't find anything. I know they *could* know by now if they wanted, but maybe they didn't want to know, or just want to keep it to themselves for now.

lol, I know the due date is supposedly October 27th, but do you think Pete realizes babies choose their own times to come, rarely come *on* the due date, and a week or so early or late is not really unusual? With the new album coming out only 8 days after the due date, the end of October/beginning of November is going to be a *really* busy time for them.....

yes!! I mean, mpreg I can sort of understand it in, cause, biologically, if mpreg were even possible, lol, a girl would be the only outcome according to science. But the thing is, it isn't really scientifically posssible to have an mpreg, so why try to follow science?

lol, nothing wrong with that! It just makes it sadder that given only a 33% chance of it being a girl, in fanfiction, it's almost always a girl!

And it's not just in bandom, but in most fanfiction I've read, if there's kids, it's almost always girls!!

I wanna read a fic where someone has to deal with stuff for a baby boy that you just don't have with a girl. Deciding about circumcision, Toddlers whipping it out and going in flowerbeds, etc.
There's just so many opportunities for good drabbles with little boys, you know?

actually, they did announce they're having a little girl :) she's due around halloween, is the last calculation. i hope it's not, because frankie still needs a special day all to himself. but i'm almost one-hundred percent it's a girl.

Did they? I can't find anything, really, saying for sure; I kind of thought people were just assuming because of the name Pete gave us (which, really, I'm pretty sure was a joke!)

I still have a hard time believing people named their kids Apple(girl) and Orange(boy), even though I *worked* with Apple for 2 months!! but I do have to say, I'm waiting to find out which member of MCR will spawn first, lol, now that Bob is the only unmarried member. Since they are on break wandering to sci fi cons(Gerard), touring with their other band(Frank), writing comics(both Gerard and Mikey!), on a honeymoon(Ray), recovering from surgery(Bob), and having bad hair competitions, lol; blond!Frank(hopefully it's a wig!) and RaggedyAndyGerard, I'm kind of waiting for an announcement, you know, lol, not that they can even take breaks like a 'normal' band!

i hope bob never gets married. he's too awesome. he can just adopt some babies. it'll be great.

lol, blond!Frank is hilarious! plus, it's BlondLeathermouthbadassMustachioedFrank!, so it just adds that much more to the sputtering OMGFRANKWHATDIDYOUDO! it is pale blond, too, like, Barbie doll blond hair, and it's not quite to his shoulders, which has me going 'ohthankgoditsawig...' but on the other hand, I have now been exposed to 5 or 6 of those, so, I dunno. He's playing(bass) in some of them, and, well, would a wig stay on, with the way he plays?

Also, which redhair!Gerardpics have you seen? There's several on mcr_pic_spam, but beware, the newest one has the blond!Frank pics in it, too, lol!

and yeah, pornstashe, lol, it's back, and bigger than ever! It's well on it's way to an evilvillian!stache, or a caterpiller!stache, I'm not sure which, lol. It's actually long enough for the ends to be making points, and to look fluffy. Is scary!

It's funny, though; I have to wonder if Gerard reads much manga and/or watches much anime, couse he almost looks like he wanted to cosplay as Shuichi Shindo, from Gravitation. In the story, Shuichi is the lead singer of a band, he has that color hair, and his boyfriend is blond, so when I saw the one of Frank, my slasher-mind went straight to there!
