giddy rambling. :) 7 days!!!!!

I am becoming very giddy about next Saturday. :)

I have an amtrak ticket, and a concert ticket, and a (big!)group of people to stay with. And I'm gonna be getting to SJ at, like, 11 am. erm, so I'm gonna be chilling there in line wwwaaaayyyyy early, lol! I'm planning on just chillin' with my mp3 player, lol, and my phone, but I don't want to use up my phone's battery, cause it's my only camera. :) So, if you see someone with reddish dyed hair, in a Bidwell shirt, and with a tiny pink purse covered in band buttons hanging around way too early, that'll be me.

Come introduce yourself to me! Be warned, though, I'm horrible with names/face/lj names, so while I may know you on here, I probably won't recognize you even if I've seen your pic on here, lol! One of the people who I've roomed with for the MLP Convention, twice now, in fact! I still refer to her by her screen name, lol; I know her real name(it's Paula), but it's just, well, I talk to her on the mlp site, and her name on there, where I first met her, is Skylar, so I always think of her as Skylar, not Paula, make sense? Like, my name is Tina, or Christina, but I actually prefer to go by lunar, lol, when I'm at the mlp convention. I actually don't even think to tell the people I meet there that my name is Tina, lol!

hee, I can't wait!! Concerts are the BEST! I don't know how I made it all the way to 29(ok, so, 2 days before I turned 29, lol) without going to a SINGLE ONE!

lol, I wish I could afford to join Northern Downpour, in case there's a m&g/early entry, but I'm cutting it close as it is. I'll be happy with whatever, but I hope since I'm getting there so early I can get a good spot!(My 'normal concert spot' would be incredible to get!) :)

(Wow, I suck at REPLYING... lmao) DUDE I HAVE NO IDEA HOW YOU MANAGED THAT! My first concert was when I was 16 and that still felt old to me. XD And nope, I'm picking up obscurityyy and driving to San Jose for the concert, then both of us back after that. IT IS SLIGHTLY CRAZY BUT WORTH IT.

I'm hoping we can get some decent spots, I'd looooove to see them up close, especially after seeing the videos posted from last night!

lol, at 16 I was listening to oldies, and it's not like many of them were touring, you know? (Beach Boys, Beatles, Ringo Star, The Mammas and the Pappas, Iron Butterfly, Hendrix, and so on. :) I don't think I ever listened to the radio; I still don't, really, lol.)


I was surprised, my ticket actually has a seat number printed on it, so I hope I don't have to actually stay there where I'm assigned. /o\ I don't want to be stuck in a seat! But I know sometimes places just use the seat #'s to help keep track of the number sold, right? (at least, that's how NASCAR races do it!)

We did that for MCR; drove there, saw the show, waited around for an hour or so to see if we could get autographs(Frank came out, but no one else), then drove home. We actually had to stop about 3 am in a parking lot to sleep for a couple of hours, lol. We got home about 9 am, and then I had to go to work that night at 5. lol, I'm 29, and I'm getting too old to do that to myself!

lol, as early as I'm getting there, I expect to see lots of people from on here, probably most of them I won't know, and more than will ever have a clue who I am, lol. But then I'll come home and be checking on here, and everyone will be posting recaps, and I'll be going, 'hey, that lady you mentioned who was there way early(like a failboat teenie fangirl, lol) was me; when taking amtrak, you've gotta take what you can get!'

I may end up bringing my namebadge from the mlp convention, lol; I use the same name there. :) It's on my concert purse, lol, and I just thought maybe I'll leave it on there.......

lol, I don't even know which hotel we're using yet! I don't care, though, lol; my transportation is my own two feet or a taxi, and I'd rather get to the venue early that way I don't have to worry about getting over there, lol.

For MCR, we where hanging out from about 1 pm, when the door didn't open till 6. :)

I'm a patient person, lol, so I don't mind sitting around, as long as I take something to listen to, or to read. Lol, maybe I'll print out some fics to read, I can just recycle them when I'm done! Obviously NOT PatD ones; I don't want to scare them if they see me, lol!

heh, books were what I *used* to read, before I Discovered Fanfiction. :) My wallet likes fanfiction much more, lol; it's free!

But I do have a newish one I've only read once; "The Snow Queen" by Mercedes Lackey. I think I'll re-read it!
