lunar_scytheYep, you know it! I'm adding to the OBAMA!!!!! spam on your flist, because no one around here was voting for him. lol, What can I say, I live in a tiny town of conservatives..... :(
most of them probably voted yes on prop 8, too. >.<
I'm pretty sure my parents did. My PARENTS, who raised me to think for myself and be open-minded and unprejudiced. Yeah, they are hypocrites, but at least if you ask them, they'll admit it?
*sigh* one thing I got *very* tired of hearing was whenever I'd mention Obama to my room mate, the first and only thing she'd say about him was 'he wants to take our guns away!', which, well, she's been hunting since she could walk, but, to me? that was the *last* thing I was considering when choosing who to vote for, lol! there's much more important things to me then your 'right' to go shoot animals, girl. There's let's see, a war, foreign policies, doing the right thing rather then going with the flow....
Still not sure about the health care plans, because I've read stories about places where there are national health plans, but, well, at least Obama's trying, which is more than I can say about others, right?
A McCain supporter tried 'threatening' me with de-friending me over on myspace if I didn't vote for McCain. uh-uh, no, you DON'T try that kind of crap on me. I don't let my own PARENTS influence my voting. 'Threats' of de-friending will NOT work, they'll just get you de-friended first.
